LJF Custom Coatings deliver high-quality Glass Syntactic Polyurethane coating applications across a broad range of OD’s and coating thicknesses. GsPU is a syntactic foam subsea insulation system designed for flow assurance with a low thermal conductivity which results in lower achievable U-vales.

Depending on temperature, the substrate will be coated with FBE anti-corrosion or EPDM as a thermal barrier.  Thermal calculations can be prepared  in a wide range of thicknesses and configurations to meet specific performance and subsea installation requirements for both shallow and deepwater applications.

Combining polyurethane resin with hollow glass microspheres, GsPU delivers excellent thermal insulation and compressive strength - making it ideal for subsea spools, and production systems where long-term durability and performance are critical.
